Rest of Europe
World Villages for Children is a humanitarian association founded in 1999.
Alongside the Sisters of Mary, we help the poorest children in six countries around the world (Philippines, Mexico, Guatemala, Brazil, Honduras and Tanzania).
Today, more than 20,000 poor children are welcomed in the Villages, where they are accompanied by their 11 to 17 year olds on average. They are fed, housed, cared for, but above all, they go to school and follow professional training. Thus, children grow up healthy, flourish and develop their full potential to build a good life… far from poverty.
The programs run by the Sisters of Mary have proven themselves for more than half a century, having enabled more than 150,000 children to escape forever from the poverty in which they grew up.
